What are “The Vagina Monologues”?

Filipina Image Program - Seven Aspects of Image

Filipina Image Program - "Image Builds Business"
A good public image makes friends, builds customer loyalty, attracts investors, motivates staff, and helps you survive in difficult economic times. A weak image is a liability that can cost you lost opportunities and can drive you out of business. Your image is like the weather. People notice when it is extremely good or extremely bad.

Using the Seven Aspects of Image to Influence Results
1. Color Analysis - Color communicates subconscious messages of health, power, culture, and environment.
2. Wardrobe Strategies - Methods to express lifestyle and profession. Can be used as a tactical weapon to barter goodwill.
3. Grooming - Physical manifestations of health and well-being. Describes the character of a company, its products and employees.
4. Communications - Delivery of messages though verbal and non-verbal techniques.
5. Protocol and Etiquette - Behavior in business and social situations.
6. Image Objects - Persons, places or things that influence our perception of individuals, products, companies and entities.
7. Inner Image - Relationship with yourself regarding security, self-hood, belonging, purpose and competence.

Seminar #1

"Health, Wealth, and Legal Decisions Filipina Women Will Make in Their 20s, 30s, 40s, 50s, 60s" - Choices that matter in the long run May 11, 2004, 6:00 P.M. - 9:00 P.M. Merrill Lynch Conference Room, 101 California Street,
24th Floor, San Francisco

Are you planning to buy your own home before you turn 30? With your own money? In the San Francisco Bay Area? We will discuss some simple spending and saving concepts. Consider this: your house down payment might be right there in your designer shoe/wardrobe closet!

Still paying your student loans? Planning to buy that roadster that will make you look "cool"?

Counting on your kid to get a college scholarship? In today's job market and economic environment, you need a graduate degree to get a decent, well-paying job. What do you need to do NOW?

Do you know the five legal decisions you need to make in your lifetime?

Planning to enjoy your retirement? How are you taking care of your health today?

It is morbid to think about life and death issues.....but there are times when we need to...and we will, at the next FWN meeting. Designed as a moderated "fishbowl" conversation among experts, three women will share practical experiences and discuss estate and financial planning, and other related issues that affect Filipinas during the various stages of life - from singles to seniors.
